The Pieces Are Coming Together! You know how it is to experience a time when things seem to be in pieces. Something is broken or has been pulled apart. A situation is out of control. Or you are trying to pull together the pieces of a dream and cause them to fall into place. You know how it is to experience a time in your life when things seem to be in pieces. Something is broken or has been pulled apart. It can be a situation that is out of control. Or you are trying to pull together the pieces of a dream and cause them to fall into place.
Whatever kind of situation you’re viewing that’s in pieces you can know this: the pieces will fall into place! This is what a dear woman believed and she saw the results of it. But it wasn’t always easy to believe it. There were times when she felt, as she put it, “My world had fallen apart.” She was lying in a hospital bed thinking of those things that had gone so wrong for her.
She had just had a hysterectomy because the tests had found cancer cells in her body. But that wasn’t the only reason she was hurting. She was hurting inside because her daughter had run away from home and was not serving God the way she had been raised to do.
Every so often they would hear from her, either by phone call or from a friend who knew her. She and her husband tried to talk with their daughter and explain that she was hurting her life by her behavior, but she was too deceived. So they just continued to love her and pray.
So as the woman was hurting from all of this happening in her life, she was trying to recover from her operation. Then all of a sudden, the curtain by her bed was pulled back and there stood a woman who was in the same hospital room as she, because she was going to be having surgery soon. She also was a Christian and felt God impress on her to open the curtain and go over and pray for this dear mother. She had a Bible in her hand and started praying for her in Spanish.
They didn’t even know each other, but this hurting woman said she felt at that moment God had sent an angel to show her He was taking care of her. That brought her hope and peace.
Soon she was released to go home. But she continued having emotional ups and downs because her hormones were out of balance due to the fact she had had a hysterectomy. She really felt as if her life was in pieces. The destiny God had for her and her family was falling apart. But as she continued to pray and stand in faith with her husband, the pieces started coming together.
One night they and some Christian friends had special prayer for their daughter under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. They found out later, that very night, their daughter had a vision of herself going down into a horrible abyss. God was giving her a vision because of the prayers which had gone forth in her behalf. When this young woman saw that vision, she thought, Oh no, I’m heading toward destruction!
That’s really what we need our loved ones who are making wrong choices to realize. They’re headed toward destruction. Believe for God to give them that vision. Once their daughter realized this, she prayed to God and then decided to come home. Soon she showed up at the front door and asked forgiveness from her parents. It had been two and a half years and it was all falling into place and she was back home, serving God. (Since then she has married a wonderful man and they are in ministry together.)
Also, this mother who had been fighting the effects of the surgery which caused her hormones to be out of balance found a physician who prescribed hormones. Her emotional balance returned. Those emotions that seemed as if they were in pieces came together and were stable and at peace. So she has been healed from cancer, her hormones are balanced, and her daughter is home.
Now here’s what she says, “There have been hard times in my life. Life is not easy. But when I look back and see how God has ordered everything…it’s amazing how each piece fits. It’s like a puzzle. When you’re in the middle of it, you can’t see the big picture, but when you look back, you see how all the pieces fell into place. [You] see God truly has been faithful.”
That’s what God is showing us. No matter how many pieces it appears things have been torn into, He is faithful to cause them to come together. Remember how the pieces were falling apart for the man Job in the Bible? And yet his story ends this way, And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning. (Ref. Job 42:12.) As we continue to trust the Lord, the pieces will fall into place.

“EVERYTHING WILL FALL IN PLACE!” Here is a powerful prayer to say out loud:
Father, I believe the pieces are falling into place for me. What seemed to have been pulled apart will come together to form the beautiful picture You have for me. I’m expecting the miracle to start now in the name of Jesus. Amen.
