Tune-In,
 Tune-Out!  
 

What you tune in and what you tune out is the secret to receiving miracles or not.  If you tune in the right things, you will see those happen in your life.  If you tune in the wrong things, you will see those happen.  The Spirit of God is going to show how you can tune in what will give you His best and you can tune out what will take that away from you.  See how to tune in the best thoughts, words, ideas, and beliefs.
I.    Protect What You Consume.
II.   Respond to the Prompting.
III.  Grow the Good Seeds. 
IV.  Boost Your Believing. 
V.   Don’t Allow It to Get to You. 

        Is
  Someone
   Trolling
      You?

   You may have heard the term trolling.  Trolling is when someone gets on social media and they post hateful comments or make personal attacks.  They’re trying to get a rise out of someone by causing anger or frustration.  They want to provoke them and upset them.  You can be thankful if you have never been trolled on social media.

   But there’s another media where I guarantee that you have been trolled.  You may call it spiritual media.  Satan tries to come into your space and disrupt it.  He wants to provoke you.  Cause you to be frustrated or upset or fearful.  So he will try to post words in your mind and heart.

   If he can just get you not to believe God is protecting you and will take care of you and is there to help you succeed and be victorious, then he can take away your willingness to keep going.  After he gets finished with you, he hopes you won’t have any hope for what you desire being fulfilled.  So he does a spiritual troll on you in his spiritual media.  He flashes words that will get to you.  So you must tune it out.  Don’t allow it to get to you.

   Tune out what is trying to ruin what God is doing in your life.  Tune in what He is saying.  Your thoughts are too important to allow them to be taken up by the wrong words that tell you that you can’t do something or you’re not valuable.

   In I Peter chapter 2 it tells us how to handle the wrong things that come against us.  It says that by doing right, our lives will muzzle or gag those people who give unjust criticism.

   Here is how those people are described.  Peter says they are foolish people who give ignorant charges and ill-informed criticisms. (Ref. I Peter 2:15.)  That is the best description I’ve ever heard.  Foolish people who say things about us that are ignorant.  Their criticisms are ill-informed.  In other words, they don’t know what they’re talking about!

   So as we behave according to God’s will, our lives, our very actions, will shut up those people and the devil.  They will be muzzled.  Gagged.  Their false words will not be able to destroy us.  So why should we tune in what they’re saying when it’s foolish.  We tune them out.  We don’t allow what they say to get to us.  Continue to rejoice in what you know God is doing in your life.

   There was an older man who was sitting in a restaurant in California one day.  He was minding his own business, just eating his soup.  But there was a younger man there that decided he would share with everyone in the place what was wrong with the United States.  He felt it was a mess.  He scorned almost every area of the government.

   He kept talking until just about everybody in the restaurant was agreeing with him.  Except for the old man.  He turned his back on the loud person and kept eating his soup.  He was tuning him out.

   Well, this young man couldn’t stand that, so he came over and said to him, “Mister, if you can tell me just one thing the United States has ever done for you, just one thing, I will leave you alone.”

   The old man put down his spoon and stopped sipping his soup.  When he turned around, it was evident from his face that he had worked hard in the sun for many years.  What people didn’t know was that he had come to America from Russia.  He’d become a citizen so he could be in a place of freedom.  He knew what it was to exist under communism and no one was going to criticize the freedom he had now.

   So he said to this young man who was criticizing everything about America these simple words, and he said them with a heavy Russian accent, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal—life, liberty, pursuit of happiness.”

   Then he turned back around and began eating his soup again.  That young man had no argument.  How could he argue against someone who had experienced such extreme difficulty and now they were free.  The comparison was evident.  So the young man was muzzled.  Gagged.  The old man refused to allow him to get to him.  He couldn’t destroy the celebration of freedom he had.

   As the apostle Peter said, your life will shut down those who are saying wrong words, trying to get you to give up all that’s good for your life.  Live in all God has for you by tuning in the wonderful things He is saying about you and what He has for you.

“I RECEIVE WHAT GOD HAS FOR ME!”

Here is a powerful prayer to say out loud:

Lord, I reject all the wrong thoughts about my life.  You’re giving me good thoughts of good things to come.  I receive those by faith.  Your miracle presence is with me so I shall see mighty answers come.  I’m entering a time of celebration.  In the name of Jesus.  Amen.
